Health Curriculum Public Hearing Notice
Kent ISD programs of My School@Kent and Center Programs are required to follow state law in regards to teaching health education to the students enrolled specifically in those programs. Work has recently been completed by a committee of parents, teachers, and administrators to select appropriate curriculums for use in teaching our students.
Parents have the opportunity to view these curriculums at two hearings for public review:
- May 7, 2p-3p, Empower U Central, 225 Mayfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids
- May 13, 4:30p-5:30p, Kent ISD Educational Service Center, 2930 Knapp St. NE, Grand Rapids
